The public vote officially takes place today, February 4th People’s Choice Award for Nature Photographer of the Yearand invites people worldwide to choose their favorite image from one of the world’s most prestigious photography competitions, organized by the Natural History Museum in London.

Tens of thousands of photos are submitted every year, but only a small proportion make it through the rigorous selection process led by experts. From there, a final shortlist will be presented to the public that celebrates creativity, technical skill and powerful storytelling, highlighting the beauty, fragility and complexity of life on Earth.
